If in the future dogs will start driving cars, we wouldn’t be surprised at all. Dogs are so smart that we can pretty much train them to do anything. Okay, maybe not exactly anything, but since we’ve domesticated them thousands of years ago, they’ve come a long way. Sitting and playing dead is already passé once you see what dogs are capable of nowadays.
One trend is clear about the new things dogs can do. They learn new things either to help us or to be involved in the fun that we are having too. We train them to do police or military work, we also bring them along when we go hiking or surfing. But what about board games? Of course, they don’t really have a complete grasp of what board games are, but they’re very good with imitation.
The star of this viral video is Remington Bear, or Remy, for short. Remy is a Chocolate Labrador that showed everyone that party time isn’t just for us, silly hoomans, but for doggos as well. Remy was filmed while playing Jenga with her owners and their friends during what seemed to be a party, and boy did she play like a pro.
Everyone knows about Jenga, but for those who don’t, Jenga is a game where players take turns in removing wooden bricks from a stack and placing them up top. The objective here is to keep the tower from falling down, if it falls down on your turn, then you lose the game. Remy, her owners, and their friends were playing one night with an oversized version of the game.
The video starts with Remy doing her turn. Everyone in the room is drinking their beer and observing if Remy can pull it off. She goes for a risky piece of wooden brick that could’ve sent the tower tumbling down. But with great finesse, she was able to remove the block and keep the tower upright. See her incredible in the video below.
